1. Fire causes severe damage to 2nd Ave. church in Albany

Fire crews battled a fire at the Elijah Missionary Baptist Church on Second Avenue in Albany Thursday night. The Albany Fire Department said multiple calls came in around 11 p.m.

2. Amsterdam family seeks justice after dog hit-and-run

The DeZolt family would walk their Bull Terrier, Nora, every day where they live on McDonald Drive. Their daily routine was shattered late Tuesday afternoon. Hope DeZolt and Nora were crossing the street when a motorcycle was driving by.

3. Stewart’s tap-to-pay option halted due to fraud

Stewart’s Shops have halted its tap-to-pay option at all of its stores for the time being. The halt, which started on Oct. 21, is due to fraudulent credit card payments used at stores.

4. Siena, UAlbany prepare for Albany Cup clash
