3 wounded on Woodlawn sidewalk Monday afternoon, police say
Two men and a woman were wounded in a drive-by shooting Monday afternoon in Woodlawn, police said.
Two men and a woman were wounded in a drive-by shooting Monday afternoon in the South Side Woodlawn neighborhood, according to police.
Police said the three victims were all on the sidewalk in the 700 block of East 67th Street around 2:45 p.m. when someone started firing at them from a vehicle.
A 50-year-old man was shot in the left leg while a 20 year-old man and a 39-year-old woman were each shot in the left shoulder, police said.
All three victims were taken in fair condition to University of Chicago Hospital. Police said no suspects were in custody and that area detectives were investigating the shooting.
