3 injured during wreck on Stevenson in Hodgkins
Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on the Stevenson Expressway early Thursday in suburban Hodgkins.Around 12:15 a.m., state troopers responded to Interstate 55 near La Grange Road for a crash involving two vehicles, Illinois state police said. Three people suffered injuries and were taken to area hospitals, state police said. One of them suffered injuries considered to be life-threatening. Northbound lanes of I-55 were shut down until about 6 a.m., state police said.
