Three Chicago police officers were injured while responding to a call Saturday afternoon on the West Side. About 12:25 p.m., officers responding to a call in the 4300 block West Madison Street in West Garfield Park were battered by a group of people at the scene, Chicago police said. Three officers were taken to area hospitals where they were treated and released, police said. One man has been charged with misdemeanor resisting arrest and aggravated assault.
