In 2025, the large array of SUVs on the market is astounding. All manufacturers have a compact, a mid-size and a large SUV in the fleet now trying to earn consumers business across the globe. From reliability, to technology and safety, SUVs are all you see on the roads anymore. When it comes to Grasso’s Garage, our passion for upscale luxury SUVs is no secret, but they must include good pricing, luxury, comfort and storage, with reliability topping the list of needs. This mix of needs and must-haves is not the easiest to prescribe, but when you find something that hits homes, you tend to keep it forever. In comes the 2025 prescription everyone has been waiting for is here, and the mid-size, realistically priced, Lexus RX500h F-Sport AWD arrives in Grasso’s Garage ready for a slice of the review pie.
The 3 S’s for SUV’s for consumer wants are Sportiness, Style and Storage and Lexus nails it. Our F-Sport tester was outstanding in both appearance and technology while safety features galore pack the window sticker with effortless driving capabilities.
Our F-Sport interior aesthetics were really soothing. The technology and infotainment system was similar to other Lexus and Toyota models and was simple to navigate. Riding on 21-inch Alloy wheels, our Iridium Silver Lexus RX500h F-Sport tester had exterior pizzazz, flair and looked great with its recent redesign. Standard features came with a powerful 2.4L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid engine with 366 combined horsepower. Paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission, we now recognize why RX owners stick with the RX, drive them forever and get another one later.
Lexus and parent company Toyota Motor Co. have done a heck of job in recent years with their re-designs of both fleets. In recognition of our 2024 Grasso’s Garage vehicle of the year, the Lexus GX, did an outstanding job with this rollout and display of luxury and usage for many consumers. For the RX, nothing shabby here either as the recent redesign was smooth, effortless and really meets consumers expectations.
