A man, 18, is in critical condition and a boy, 17, is in good condition. No one is in custody as police continue investigating.

2 teens hurt in West Town shooting early Sunday morning, police say

A 17-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man were shot in West Town early Sunday morning, according to Chicago police.

The 18-year-old is in critical condition after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds while in his car on the 400 block of North Milwaukee Avenue around 2 a.m. He was treated on the scene and taken to Northwestern Hospital by the Chicago Fire Department.

The 17-year-old was also shot in the leg on the same block. He told police four offenders, two of them armed, fired at him while he was leaving a music studio. The offenders fled the scene, and the victim was taken to the University of Illinois Hospital, where he was listed in good condition.

No one is in custody as Area Three Detectives continue investigating.
