(KRON) – Two teenagers were arrested after robbing a Daly City sneaker store last weekend, according to the Daly City Police Department.
At 12:55 on Saturday, Daly City PD said a “group of teenagers” stole multiple items from JD Sports in the Serramonte Center. The subjects then fled in different directions.
Police said they caught one of the suspects, who is a 16-year-old Richmond resident, on foot. An employee informed police that this suspect allegedly “rammed his shoulder into him as he walked by.”
The teenager was arrested and booked into the Youth Services Center for robbery and conspiracy to commit a crime.
Daly City police officers also arrested another teenage Richmond resident for this robbery. The 15-year-old was found by an officer on a bus. The minor was also arrested and booked into the Youth Services Center for grand theft, conspiracy to commit a crime and an unknown additional offense.
According to police, approximately $4,000 worth of merchandise was taken from the shoe store.
