AUSTIN (KXAN) — Two suspects are in custody and charged with murder in connection with a deadly shooting in Wells Branch that happened Thursday evening.
The Travis County Sheriff's Office identified one suspect as Nathan Jamar Reed-Harper, 18 of Pflugerville. The other is a juvenile whose name is not being released. Both are charged with murder, according to TCSO.
KXAN is working to find attorney information for Reed-Harper so we can reach out for a statement to the accusations. This story will be updated when that information is available.
TCSO said one person died in a shooting at an apartment near the 2800 block of Wells Branch Parkway last Thursday.
The sheriff's office identified the victim on Tuesday as Darrell Keith Davis, 24 of Austin.
TCSO believes the incident started as an attempted robbery between "individuals who are known to each other," according to a Tuesday morning update. The investigation is ongoing.
