(KRON) -- Two children and two adults were found dead in a Milpitas apartment building Tuesday night, according to the Milpitas Police Department. Authorities said it appeared to be an isolated incident.
Police responded at 8:52 p.m. to the Turing Apartments at 1355 McCandless Drive for a welfare check. Officers entered an apartment unit and found one man, one woman and two children deceased.
“Based on all available information, this appears to be an isolated incident with no danger to the public,” Milpitas PD said. Authorities did not say what prompted the initial welfare check.
The investigation into the deaths is ongoing, police said. No further information on the identities of the deceased, their relationships or their manners of death were immediately available.
