1 taken to hospital, I-25 southbound closed near Lone Tree after multiple motorcycles crash

DENVER (KDVR) — Southbound Interstate 25 was closed near Lone Tree due to a crash involving multiple motorcycles, which sent one person to the hospital.
South Metro Fire Rescue said in a post on X Saturday afternoon, that the motorcycles crashed on I-25 near Lincoln Avenue.
SMFR said one motorcycle rider was taken to a hospital while two others refused treatment on the scene.
Southbound I-25 was temporarily closed in the area and the roadway has since reopened. As of 3:50 p.m., Colorado Department of Transportation cameras in the area show traffic moving slowly.
Officers with the Lone Tree Police Department remain on the scene investigating the crash.
