1 killed in I-225 hit-and-run crash in Aurora
Interstate 225 at 6th Avenue was closed for more than three hours following a deadly hit-and-run crash.
DENVER (KDVR) — Interstate 225 at 6th Avenue was closed for more than three hours following a deadly hit-and-run crash.
The Aurora Police Department posted on X at 12:55 a.m. on Monday that officers were at I-225 and 6th Avenue for a deadly crash involving a motorcycle.
Aurora police said the other driver did not stay on scene. They did not release information on the suspected vehicle or driver.
All northbound lanes of I-225 were closed until 4:19 a.m.
The Aurora Traffic Unit is investigating. Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call the Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
The identity of the deceased will be released at a later time.
