(BCN) -- One person was hurt in a solo-vehicle collision in Campbell on Sunday afternoon, according to police.
The collision damaged a power pole and caused police to close East Hamilton Avenue at Phantom Avenue at about 5:30 p.m. Campbell police asked drivers to avoid the area in a post on X at 6:46 p.m.
The collision resulted in minor injuries to one person and is being investigated as a possible DUI, police said. PG&E is responding to the scene to repair the damaged power pole, according to the post from the police department.
As of 7:20 p.m., about 2,200 customers were without power in the area, according to PG&E's live outage map. There was no estimated time for restoration.
